Are your books original?
Yes. The books we sell are overrun and clearance copies from publishers and distributors. These are authentic books that may have been part of excess print runs or surplus inventory.
Because of this, we are able to offer them at significantly lower prices compared to traditional bookstores.
Why are your books much cheaper than bookstores?
Most bookstores sell books at full retail price. Mindful Reads sources overruns and clearance stock, which allows us to sell the same titles at up to 70% less than typical bookstore prices.
Our mission is simple: make life-changing knowledge more accessible.
What is an "overrun" book?
Overrun books are extra copies printed by publishers beyond the required quantity. Instead of being stored or discarded, these books are sold through secondary distributors — allowing customers to purchase them at lower prices.
Are the books brand new?
Yes. Most of our books are brand new and unread. However, some copies may have minor shelf marks or small imperfections due to warehouse storage or transport. These do not affect the readability of the book.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Yes. We offer Cash on Delivery nationwide to make purchasing easier for our customers in the Philippines.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times usually depend on your location:
• Metro Manila: 1–3 business days
• Provincial areas: 3–7 business days
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. We ship nationwide across the Philippines.
What if a book is out of stock?
Our inventory changes frequently since many of our books come from limited clearance or overrun batches. If a title you want is sold out, we recommend checking back regularly as we restock new titles often.
Can I return or exchange a book?
Because our books are sourced from overrun and clearance batches, some copies may have minor cosmetic imperfections such as light shelf wear, small dents, or slight page discoloration from storage. These are normal for clearance inventory and do not affect the readability of the book.
That said, our team carefully inspects and packs every order to make sure you receive a book that is in good, readable condition.
For this reason, minor cosmetic imperfections are not eligible for return or exchange.
However, if you receive the wrong item or a book with significant damage that affects usability, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, and our team will gladly assist you.
Do you have a physical store?
Currently, Mindful Reads operates online only, allowing us to keep our prices affordable and accessible.
